Caroline Ménard wins a grant for a France-Quebec collaborative project on neurocognitive aging

Professor Caroline Ménard is the winner of the joint call for proposals for the Inserm-FRQS Bilateral Collaborative Research Program on "Neurocognitive aging, from basic research to clinical pathophysiology" for her project Aging affects cognitive functions via neurovascular alterations favoring a reduction in neurogenesis.

Her FRQS-funded team will receive a maximum of $150,000 over a 3-year period. Projects will be carried out in collaboration with Inserm teams. Inserm will award each winning team €60,000 over a 3-year period, as well as a 2-year postdoctoral contract.
