Evaluation and treatment of personality disorders are the main focus of my research interests. I work on premature treatment dropout in patients with personality disorders. These empirical investigations led to the development and validation of the Treatment Attrition-Retention Scale for Personality Disorders, an instrument which allows to predict the risk of premature dropout with these patients. I am also interested in variables associated with the therapeutic relationship (alliance, collaboration, transference and counter-transference) and their impact, mainly during the course of psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have actively contributed to the development and validation of measures of psychodynamic variables such as personality organization and transference. Recently, I have launched a research program on stalking in the context of love relationships of young adults.
