<p>Thanks to new technologies, young people can keep themselves informed, communicate, socialise and perform a host of other activities more easily, online. Adolescence is also a period of vulnerability for the development of eating disorders. This expansion of digital media in the daily lives of adolescents raises questions regarding the long-term implications and the possible impacts of the internet on the evolution and treatment of people with eating disorders.</p>
