The sequence of events that leads to a neurodevelopmental disorder and brain diseases is still poorly understood, which impairs our ability to treat. Our laboratory is interested in investigating the link between genetic susceptibilities and immune activation in neurodegenerative diseases and neurodevelopmental disorders . We are also studying the role of specific microRNAs in neural network maturation.
