A new study published in the journal Neuroimage by Olivier Potvin, Abderazzak Mouiha, Louis Dieumegarde and Simon Duchesne analysed brain scans from almost 2800 healthy individuals. Their analysis allowed them to determine the normal size range of various brain structure in indivual of all ages, which is a very important comparison point to be able to determine if an individual has brain disease that causes the death of neurons and atrophy of specific brain regions, in comparative studies.
