Sébastien Tremblay is co-first author on a study published in Nature which reveals how the brain encodes complex social interactions in primates. This very important study used innovative methods to record, at the level of individual neurons, brain activity in socially interacting monkeys to identify the brain signatures of several social behaviors in primates. Sébastien Tremblay conducted this research while he was a researcher at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
