The 2026 Margolese National Prize for Brain Disorders was recently awarded to Professor Yves De Koninck for revolutionizing the understanding of chronic pain. Her work has paved the way for new therapeutic approaches and improved patient outcomes.

Dr. De Koninck holds the position of Director of Research at Santé Québec Capitale-Nationale – Universitaire in addition to being a professor at the Université Laval and serving as Scientific Director here, at the CERVO research @Centre.
